About Jasmine Guffond
Guffond’s work is presented internationally in galleries, art institutions and at festivals for electronic music and sound art. In 2020 she opened the CTM Festival in Berlin, in 2022 she composed a commissioned work for the renowned Acousmonium of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales in Paris, and in 2025 she created an installation for the Zentrum für Kunst und Medien (ZKM) in Karlsruhe. Jasmine has also released several solo albums on labels including Sonic Pieces (2015, 2017), Karl Records (2018), Editions Mego (2020), OOH-Sounds (2024) and LINE (2025). Her music moves between abstract sonic worlds and more traditional musical structures, developing a language of her own that explores both the power of sound itself and the emotional impact of music.
About Silence
The music series Silence consists of morning concerts. On the first Friday of each month, as the city awakens, musicians explore the centuries-old acoustics of the Oude Kerk. At the heart of the Silence series is contemporary music in which acoustic, digital and electronic sounds merge. In the tradition of Sweelinck’s walking concerts hundreds of years ago, the audience can experience the music while moving through the church’s ancient architecture.
