Exploring sonic architecture

The concert is grounded in a joint exploration by the Oude Kerk and Minimal Collective into the sonic architecture of the church building. In the coming weeks, the platform will publish a series of editorial features, including contributions from our organist, Matteo Imbruno, and our music curator, Orpheu de Jong, reflecting on music and sound in relation to the Oude Kerk and its unique acoustics.

About Minimal Collective
Minimal Collective is an Amsterdam-based platform operating at the intersection of music, art, and technology. Through in-depth publications, artistic interventions, and forward-thinking events, the collective explores innovative forms of meaning and connection within contemporary culture. Post-Space is their recently launched series of site-specific listening sessions, in which sound engages with the identity of each location. Through the practice of deep listening, audiences are invited to re-experience each space – from historic monuments and museums to off-site venues and natural environments.
