Walk-in Tours: Minne Kersten

Starting on Saturday 29 November (next weekend), join one of our short drop-in tours free of charge every Saturday and Sunday afternoon: the ideal introduction to a visit to the Minne Kersten exhibition. Times: 14:00–14:15 (NL), 15:00–15:15 (EN). No reservation is required; please report to the entrance before the start.

About the exhibition
Especially for the Oude Kerk, artist Minne Kersten has created a new audiovisual installation that draws a connection between spiritual imagination and the magic of the earliest film techniques. The twenty-five-metre-high spiral staircases of the Oude Kerk serve as a central motif. In There’s Always Another Twist, Minne Kersten explores how religious architecture and myths, much like early film techniques, use visual illusions and effects such as visions and hallucinations to evoke an alternate reality.
