Types of guided tours

• Series A: Highlights of the Oude Kerk
  From the medieval stained-glass windows to the monumental organs and the many remarkable gravestones of, among others, Saskia van Uylenburgh and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck. A guided tour of the highlights of Amsterdam’s oldest building and more than seven centuries of (urban) history.
  
  
• Series B: A unique interplay between art and heritage
  For centuries, the Oude Kerk has been a home for artists and musicians. Today, we continue to commission artists and musicians to create new work for the Oude Kerk. Learn more about the current exhibition.
  

Alignment with the education curriculum
The programme for the lower years of secondary education aligns with core objectives 50, 51 and 52 of the Arts and Culture curriculum. For the upper years, it aligns with the objectives of CKV, KUA, and Arts and Culture.

Special guided tour in collaboration with Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder
Especially for the subject of history in the upper years of HAVO/VWO, the Oude Kerk, in collaboration with Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder, offers an Exam Tour. Central to this tour are themes from Period V and characteristic aspect 21: “The Protestant Reformation, which resulted in the division of the Church in Western Europe.” This guided tour can be booked here.

Price: € 105 per hour, including admission and guidance
Number of pupils: Maximum of 15 pupils per group

General terms and conditions

• We ask you to make a reservation for one of our programmes. We would like to receive your booking at least two weeks prior to the visit.
• For every 15 pupils, at least one school supervisor is required.
• The stated prices apply when Dutch is the language of instruction. For other languages, a surcharge of €10 per museum educator applies.
• Payment is by invoice or at the ticket desk.
