We want everyone to enjoy their visit to the Oude Kerk comfortably. Unfortunately, our historic building is not fully wheelchair accessible. Read more on this page about the facilities available.
Daylight only (21 November – 6 April)
During the exhibition (21 November – 6 April), you can see the Oude Kerk in natural light. After 4:00 pm it gets darker. Are you mainly coming to see the church interior? If so, come earlier in the day.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The main church area is largely wheelchair accessible. The historic side rooms are not.
Audio tour for visitors who are blind or visually impaired
The free audio tour of the Oude Kerk is available to everyone and invites a sensory exploration of the building and its art. With an emphasis on sound, atmosphere, and tactile descriptions, this tour is also suitable for visitors who are blind or visually impaired. We recommend taking the tour together with a companion.

Free entry for companion/assistant
Visitors with disabilities are welcome to bring a companion or assistant free of charge.
Accessible toilet
The Oude Kerk has a toilet available for visitors with physical disabilities.

Assistance and guide dogs are very welcome in the Oude Kerk. Please keep your dog on a lead.
