Organists Evan Bogerd and André van Vliet pay tribute to organist Herman van Vliet (1941-2018). Herman van Vliet is considered one of the leading innovators of Dutch organ culture. He was known for his idiosyncratic musical approach and was considered one of the great Dutch concert organists in the tradition of Feike Asma.

Bogerd (cantor-organist of the Westerkerk Amsterdam) and Van Vliet (musician, organist) were pupils of Van Vliet. The concert is organised in cooperation with Vox Humana, foundation for the promotion of the art of organ. Vox Humana organises concerts, xcursions, master classes throughout the Netherlands.
